Tuesday 1st October - AAPES Parkour Botany (18 Tenterden Rd, Botany NSW 2019)
The children will receive an introduction to parkour and the culture of fun it entails. They will be challenged, inspired and learn to be their very best.

Thursday 3rd October - Holey Moley & Archie Bros Alexandria (75 O'Riordan St, Alexandria NSW 2015)
The children will engage in a game of putt putt, challenging their hand eye coordination as they make their way around the 18 hole course.

Wednesday 9th October - Chinese Garden of Friendship & Tumbalong Park (Pier Street, Cnr Harbour St, Darling Harbour NSW 2000)
The children will explore the garden and learn about the diversity of China on a self guided tour. Afterwards they will enjoy a BYO picnic lunch and engage in group games and physical activities at Tumbalong Park.

Friday 11th October - Juniors (Kindergarten to year 2) Where Bush meets Beach - Yarra Bay to La Perouse Bushwalk (67-69 Yarra Rd, Phillip Bay NSW 2036)
The children will embark on a nature walk from Yarra Bay to Frenchman's Bay Playground & Reserve, La Perouse. There they will be able to enjoy a BYO picnic lunch at the park and engage in physical activities at the playground & park.

Friday 11th October - Senior (years 3-6) Where Bush meets Beach - Henry Head Walking Tack (Henry Head walking track, 268P+34, La Perouse NSW 2036)
The children will embark on a nature walk following the Henry Head Walking Track to La Perouse. They will be able to enjoy a BYO picnic lunch along the way.

What to bring:
- Morning tea and lunch with accompanying drinks for the day. Breakfast (until 8am) and afternoon tea are provided. Cooking experiences may be held during the day. Please remember when packing your child's lunch that we are a NUT FREE Service.
- Jumper, hat, enclosed shoes, water bottle, spare change of clothes. Children must wear closed shoes but can bring open shoes for suitable activities.

What to do each day:
- Drop off/pick up your child via the Page St gate.
- Advise staff if your child will be absent by emailing the office. Or by sending your absence notification via the Xplor Home app.
- Adhere to our health policy by keeping unwell children at home.
- Dress your child in comfortable ‘play’ clothes suitable for active and sometimes messy activities.
- Label all items (clothing, bag, hat, water bottle etc.)
- Collect your child by 6.00pm to avoid the late fee of $20 per 15 minutes or part thereof.
- Email the office if your authorised contacts/pick-up persons have changed.
Health & Additional Needs
It is imperative that you advise Star Club if your child has:
- Any allergies or health concerns.
- Any additional needs (such as ASD, ADHD, Global Development Delay etc.), diagnosed or undiagnosed.
- Notify us of any changes to allergy/health requirements for your child.
- Notify us of any medication required while at Star Club, prior to attendance.
- A child's booking may not be processed, unless adequate information and documentation is not provided.
Safety, supervision, transport & risk assessments:
Star Club have strict safety and supervision procedures and policies available to view upon request. Children are encouraged to actively work with educators to implement and follow all safety guidelines. Risk assessments have been prepared for all incursions and excursions, including transport, and are available to view upon request.
Full day program:
A full day program is offered with a variety of activities in addition to featured incursions and excursions. Programs are displayed daily.
Group size:
Anticipated # of children is 60-120 and # of staff is 6-12. Star Club's guideline is a 1:15 educator to child ratio and can range from 1:12 to 1:8 for excursions. For exact numbers refer to excursion information and roster on display.
Weather conditions:
If rain is light, excursions may still be attended. Some activities may be cancelled at late notice if weather conditions are adverse. Families will be notified via email. Alternate activities will be provided if an excursion is cancelled.
Daily activity:
Activities may be changed or cancelled at the last minute due to circumstances beyond our control. In this situation, we will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement and notify parents.
Behaviour:
A child's bookings may be terminated if they demonstrate repeated unacceptable behaviour or behaviour which may pose a safety risk to others.
Money/belongings:
Please do not allow your child to bring money, electronic devices, bikes or scooters to vacation care. Electronic devices and bikes/scooters may only be brought if specified as part of the program. Star Club and its staff are not responsible for personal possessions if children choose to bring them to the service.
Cost & Child Care Subsidy:
Daily fees are as listed. All daily fees may be discounted through the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) scheme, if eligible. Enrolment fees are additional. Payment method: Direct Debit is the ONLY method of payment available. Direct Debit information must be updated in your Xplor Home online account (home.myxplor.com) before a booking can be confirmed. Accounts at all services must be in order.
Cancellation policy:
Two weeks written notice must be given if you wish to withdraw your child from a booked session. If this notification is not given, full fees will be charged, even if the withdrawal is due to sickness.
